A little about me…
This is me, Cornelia! I believe special events should be celebrated, whether it be granny’s 90th birthday, or your child’s graduation. Small celebrations, big celebrations, just celebrate!
Being more of an introvert though, I often find these types of events quite exhausting, especially if I’m the one organizing it. Perhaps you can relate, even if you are more of an extrovert. And it’s because the organizer is trying to do it all! You’re trying to mingle, while also making sure the catering is running smoothly, everyone making speeches are ready, and then you still want to take photos of all the special moments.
This is why I decided to do event photography. I want to take one thing off the list of things to worry about, in order to free up your time and mind to enjoy the event more. I want to create space for you to be present fully and create amazing memories, while I capture all those amazing little moments. I want you to look back on the photos and remember what a great time you had, not how stressed you were.
Oh, and when I am not photographing your special event, you will find me close to nature and close to my loved ones. Celebrating life’s special events and making memories of my own.
A little about photographing your event…
When I take photos at your event I try my best to be a fly on the wall, in order to get those real candid shots! Telling the story of the event through photos. Not only do I take candid shots, but we also do some group and posed shots. Nothing goes uncaptured.
But wait, there’s more! (Haha) I can also set up a photo booth for your guests to have fun and make some special memories. One more thing off your list - no need to stress about guests being bored!
When you book your event photography with me, we will go over all the details ahead of time in a consultation call, so I know exactly what your wants and needs are for your event or photo booth. This also allows us to get to know each other a little before your event.
On the day of your event I will arrive early to set up the photo booth, or familiarize myself with the location and lighting. Photo booth images are emailed to guests on the spot in a template we agreed upon ahead of time, and all images of your event will be delivered in a password protected online gallery.
